Tori Bar, an extension of Izakaya Tori, is a local Japanese gastropub located across University of Tampa and in the same plaza as Oxford Exchange. In a more refined manner than Izakaya, Tori Bar offers Japanese inspired craft cocktails with high-quality, premium ingredients. The team wants to introduce Asian inspired craft cocktails and Japanese whiskies to pair with perfectly grilled Japanese skewers and specialty hand rolls—all made with the freshest ingredients.

The concept for Tori Bar is built from “ichigo ichie一期に一度” meaning “one time, one meeting.” It is a Japanese idiom describing the cultural concept of treasuring the unrepeatable nature of a moment. It reminds us to cherish the moments of any gathering we may take part in, citing the fact that any moment in life cannot be repeated.
